GdS: No reply from Raiola after latest offer to Donnarumma – three possible replacements eyed

At the moment there has been no serious progress in talks over the renewal of Gianluigi Donnarumma, according to a report.

Today, La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanLive) explains that at the moment there are no meetings scheduled between Milan and Raiola. However, telephone contacts between Paolo Maldini, Frederic Massara and Donnarumma’s agent remain frequent and the Rossoneri have used them to put forward an offer of €8million net per season, a significant increase compared to the current salary received by Gigio.

Raiola has not accepted the new offer yet and is reflecting on other possibilities for his client, but there is the feeling that a lot of Europe’s top teams already have their goalkeeping situation resolved so the market might not be full of suitors.

Donnarumma’s desire to stay at Milan to play the Champions League with the team he has always been a fan of continues to be a big factor, but the stalemate in the renewal negotiations is not the ideal scenario. Mike Maignan of Lille, Juan Musso of Udinese and Pierluigi Gollini of Atalanta are three options to potentially replace him.
