Zvonimir Boban can once again consider himself a former Rossoneri man. As had been suggested in the last few days, the Croatian director has been sacked by the ownership, following his words against them.
As reported by today’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews.it), six days after the interview that marked the definitive break with Ivan Gazidis, Milan have handed Boban the letter of termination for just cause this morning.
In other words, Boban has been fired. The official announcement from the club could arrive as early as today. Per the newspaper, Elliott considered the interview too destabilizing for the club, as well as damaging for CEO Gazidis.
Thus, after a few months, Boban’s experience as a director of Milan has come to an end. In these days, although aware of his fate, Zvone continued to do his job regularly, but now it has really come to an end.
