Brahim Diaz could have a very important role to play in AC Milan’s pursuit of Barcelona defender Junior Firpo, according to a report.
A number of sources are now reporting how after the additions of Soualiho Meite and Mario Mandzukic plus the imminent arrival of Fikayo Tomori, Milan want Firpo as a deputy to Theo Hernandez so they can complete Stefano Pioli’s squad.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews), there could be a meeting between Milan and the representatives of Junior Firpo today, and among his entourage is Sufi Abdelkader.
Abdelkader Brahim Diaz’s father and agent, and the paper notes how the Spanish midfielder is playing an important role in this operation, given the friendship that binds him to the Barcelona full-back.
It cannot be excluded therefore that Brahim has already reached out to Firpo in order to try and potentially talk him into a move to the San Siro.
