GdS: Origi will sign a four-year deal with Milan – when he will arrive

Divock Origi will be AC Milan’s first signing of the summer and it’s a much-needed pone, given that Zlatan Ibrahimovic will be out for eight months. The Belgian is expected to arrive next week, a report claims.

The transfer has been considered more or less done for several weeks now as Origi will join on a free transfer. Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara were able to convince the Liverpool man, who is looking for a new challenge in his career.

According to Gazzetta Dello Sport (via MilanNews), Origi will sign a four-year deal with the Rossoneri and the medical will take place in mid-June. That is because the striker is currently on vacation, and he has recently recovered from a minor injury.

In any case, the transfer is now a certainty as it has also been given the go-ahead from RedBird Capital, the new owners of AC Milan. Origi will be one of Stefano Pioli’s strikers for next season, in other words.
