GdS: Pioli calls on the leaders as Milan prepare for two crucial clashes

AC Milan will take on Lecce this evening and will be hoping to bounce back from two disappointing results. It’s a key game for the Rossoneri as the one after that is the Supercoppa Italiana.

Stefano Pioli isn’t happy with the current situation and made that quite clear during his press conference in the build-up to tonight’s game. Indeed, the Rossoneri must question their performances and find the core issue.

As highlighted by Gazzetta Dello Sport (via MilanNews), it simply wasn’t a good week at all for Milan. The key players of the team failed to respond properly, such as Olivier Giroud, Theo Hernandez and Rafael Leao.

Milan have been through adversity before under Pioli’s reign, many times in fact, but the current situation calls for drastic evaluations. The Scudetto race is getting tougher and the next two games will be crucial for the confidence. The Lecce clash for the standings, the Inter one for the bragging rights.
