AC Milan will make the trip to the capital to face Lazio tonight, and Massimiliano Allegri has made his selection choices.
The win against Inter in the derby has definitely boosted Milan’s confidence, and if that reopened the title discussions then the Nerazzurri’s draw against Atalanta has added a further bit of belief.
In the meantime, with Como and Roma meeting each other, a big step towards sealing a top four spot can also be taken. However, focus must be on emerging from the Olimpico with three points.
Lazio vs. AC Milan: Predicted starting XIs
The fact that Adrien Rabiot won’t be available tomorrow is a huge blow for the Rossoneri, considering his importance. Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Matteo Gabbia are the other players who will miss out with injuries.
La Gazzetta dello Sport believe that Allegri will go with the same team that started in the derby win last weekend but for one change: Ardon Jashari will be chosen to replace the suspended Rabiot. That means Pervis Estupinan will keep his place at left wing-back.
There was some speculation that Santiago Gimenez could recover to make the bench, though in the end it is believed that the Mexican will not be a part of the matchday squad.
Predicted Milan XI (3-5-2): Maignan; Tomori, De Winter, Pavlovic; Saelemaekers, Fofana, Modric, Jashari, Estupinan; Pulisic, Leao.
Predicted bench: Terracciano, Pittarella, Athekame, Odogu, Bartesaghi, Ricci, Nkunku, Füllkrug.
Predicted Lazio XI (3-5-2): Motta; Marusic, Gila, Provstgaard, Tavares; Dele-Bashiru, Patric, Taylor; Isaksen, Maldini, Zaccagni.
Predicted bench: Furlanetto, Giacomone, Hysaj, Lazzari, Pellegrini, Belahyane, Basic, Przyborek, Pedro, Noslin, Cancellieri, Dia, Ratkov.

I miss seeing Ruben Loftus-Cheek’s name on the available list. Allegri probably does also. hope RLC is healing up.
The bench looks very light.
We don’t have anybody else who is healthy. That’s the problem with the First Team in 2026: the roster is extremely short and shallow (that’s the fault of the managers who trimmed it down too much), which is one of the reasons why we aren’t more competitive to take the Scudetto from Inter (they have a much deeper and much longer roster).
Who is Pittarella??
He’s a 17-year-old goalkeeper who plays for Milan Futuro.
