GdS: Predicted XIs for Parma vs. Milan – Fonseca prepares an overhaul

AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli is expected to make several changes to his starting line-up for the game against Parma tonight compared to the team that draw with Torino.

According to this morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (as seen below), Fonseca should stick with the a 4-2-3-1 system as well as with Mike Maignan, Davide Calabria and Fikayo Tomori in the defence, but Theo Hernandez and Strahinja Pavlovic should come in.

There will be a double change in the midfield double pivot too with Tijjani Reijnders and Yunus Musah taking the places of Ismael Bennacer and Ruben Loftus-Cheek, though the Englishman in turn will be used in the attacking midfielder role.

Rafael Leao is tipped to occupy the left wing and Christian Pulisic the opposite flank, and that means that Samuel Chukwueze will start from the bench as per the paper.

Noah Okafor has been chosen to leader the line over Luka Jovic, a move that Fonseca has already confirmed after Alvaro Morata suffered a muscle injury in Saturday’s game.

Predicted Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Maignan; Calabria, Tomori, Pavlovic, Theo Hernandez; Reijnders, Loftus-Cheek; Chukwueze, Pulisic, Leao, Okafor.

Predicted Parma XI (4-2-3-1): Suzuki; Coulibaly, Del Prato, Circati, Valeri; Bernabe, Estevez; Man, Sohm, Mihaila; Bonny.

  1. I like seeing Musah starting, I hope he can prove himself, he just needs confidence, and probably Fofana gonna replace him at 60-70.
Anyway, if Pavlovich is good we’re going to win, when our defense is good we are winning.

    Pls move on…
