GdS: Premier League interest in Adli – Origi and Ballo-Toure seeking moves

By Euan Burns -

There is Premier League interest in Yacine Adli which could help Milan to sign other targets of their own, whilst Fode Ballo-Toure and Divock Origi are getting closer to the exit door as well.

As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Pianeta Milan), the interest in Adli does not only come from the Saudi Pro League, as two Premier League teams could also try and make a move for the Frenchman.

Adli himself has not actually shown any desire to leave Milan this summer but with the club still pursuing a move for Lazar Samardzic from Udinese, it seems that he will be deemed surplus to requirements.

Milan still want to make around three signings but they have to focus on sales too and Adli would be one of the most lucrative departures.

The interested Premier League teams are not named in the report but they have asked for information about the former Bordeaux man.

As for Ballo-Tpure, he could be back in the Premier League as Ipswich Town have expressed interest. Two Championship clubs are also in the frame, as well as two teams in Turkey.

Origi has said no to a team in Turkey and the club continue to work on the Belgian’s departure.

  1. 15M for Adli plus 5M on each of those parasites would give us the money for Fofana, upgrade Pobega with Ricci. Being at minimal losses use the entire budget on a ST.

    1. Ricci Ricci Ricci. Some people keep saying this name. What will we do with Ricci when we have Fofana, Bennacer, RLC, Reijnders, Pobega and Musah? Even if your scenario envisions Pobega also getting sold, that’s six players for the two double pivot positions (if the equally unnecessary Samardzic arrives to play as AM). Even if Samardzic doesn’t arrive and one of RLC and Reijnders plays as the AM, IF Pulisic doesn’t, it’s 5 players for two midfield positions. People complain so much about us not having money to spend on players, but then they want us to spend money on unnecessary signings…

    2. If the reports are true that Milan have a budget of 100 million Euro. That Cardinale actually gonna invest money and put the money were his mouth is and actually have ambition to win and have 100 million available to strengthen the squad.
Then selling Thiaw Pobega Adli Origi Ballo Saelmakers, De Kaetelare, Simic, Krunic and wages saved from Giroud, Caldara and Kjaer should generate another 100 million. So transfer budget should be in the region of 200 million.

Buy: Morata 13, Pavlovic 18, Fofana 20, Kayode 20, Casadei 20 Kone 20. This players would roughly cost 120-130 million Euro.

And if Zlatan was serious about MR X then the remaining money should be invested in

      wait for it.

      Julian Alvarez

He wants leave and he said that he wants to play in his natural position the number 9 role. He can also play behind the striker in the number 10 role of needed. Milan gave number 7 to Morata so the numer 9 is available in Milan both the Jersey and the position. 🙂

      Maignan
      Kayode Tomori Pavlovic Theo
      Fofana
      Bennacer Reijnders
      Pulisic Alvarez Leao

      Subs: GK.Sportiello Torriani
      Def. Calabria Kululu Gabbia Jimenez
      Mid: Kone RLC Casadei Musah
      Att: Chukweze Morata Jovic Okafor.

Give us this team Cardinale then we won’t laugh every time you say you want to win and you hate to lose.

      Forza Milan

  2. Why not keep Balo as a LB back up and move Teracciano on the RB. Save some money and invest them in DM. Also i still think Adli should be given a chance as a AM, his natural position. I dont see how Musa or Loftus are better than him.

    1. Adli has good vision but is slow. Not physical. Technically limited. Bad long range shoot.

None of his attibutes suggest that he is good enough, have potential, or better than Musah or loftus Cheek. Loved his attitude but he is painfully average.

  3. Origi Ballo Toure saga continues

Should give them for free transfer just to save on salaries

Adli? Still young and chep. Great worker.

But with one new midfielder- there is less and less chances for him

    1. Adli is an old school AMF, slow like Riquelme, but he didn’t have a half of Riquelme skill. It didn’t suit Fonseca fast style, or maybe not suited for most of the modern football team in Europe. He should accept Saudi League

      1. Well not surprise for origi , who want to leave his salary 4m euro nett just for turk club that offer less money ? Only saudi pro league can offer him more than 4m euro nett now

  4. Lol, Origi. That dude will be more than happy to collect the 4M owed for his last contract year and sit on a beach in Sardinia.

  5. Why on earth show exit door to adli? He absolutely loves milan and though not a star player and makes mistakes at times, he plays his heart out. His commitment to milan is enormous.

Why not use pobega as makeweight instead of adli? Adli played several matches last season and did reasonably well …. pobega was out almost for the whole season so if he goes, we won’t miss him too much!!!!
