GdS: Preseason ramps up as Pioli has all eight summer signings at his disposal

Yesterday marked a significant step forward in AC Milan’s preseason preparations as all of the summer signings trained together for the first time.

La Gazzetta dello Sport (seen below) write that all eight new signings teamed up at Milanello, including the latest arrivals Samuel Chukwueze and Yunus Musah, meaning Stefano Pioli can finally coach a practically complete Milan.

The only exceptions were the injured Davide Calabria who has to recover from the fatigue in his right thigh that saw him come off in the friendly match in Los Angeles against Juventus, and Junior Messias who sustained a muscle problem against Real Madrid.

Divock Origi worked separately for most of the session too, which is a further sign that he is not deemed part of the plans and will be sold once an acceptable offer comes in for all parties.

For Chukwueze and Musah it was the first day of work together with their new team-mates. The Nigerian right winger who arrived from Villarreal published a photo on social media together with Leao, sparking the enthusiasm of the fans.

The team will meet at Milanello this morning, while the press conference to present Okafor is scheduled at 14:30 CEST. Tomorrow evening, Milan will take the field in Monza for the Silvio Berlusconi Trophy and there could be more debuts.
