AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli appears to have just one selection doubt heading into the game against Salernitana tomorrow night, as per a report.
According to this morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (seen below), Milan should start the game with Mike Maignan in goal, Simon Kjaer and Fikayo Tomori as the centre-backs plus the returning Davide Calabria and Theo Hernandez as the full-backs.
The front three should be Christian Pulisic on the right side, Rafael Leao on the left and Olivier Giroud up front, with Samuel Chukwueze and Luka Jovic ready to lend a hand off the bench.
In midfield, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Tijjani Reijnders seem certain of the two mezzala spots. The doubt is who will play in the No.6 role, with Ismael Bennacer currently the most likely but with Rade Krunic a candidate too, given Yunus Musah’s absence.
Probable Milan XI (4-3-3): Maignan; Calabria, Kjaer, Tomori, Hernandez; Loftus-Cheek, Bennacer (Krunic), Reijnders; Pulisic, Giroud, Leao.

Also let Jovic get his chance when he was given the chance due to Giroud absence he delivered. Giroud is good but he is not getting any younger should Jovic rediscover his form we can get him at a fair price

Yes as said Giroud is not getting younger ,but he still has a knack of technique and knows exactly where to be at the right time ,,,but as has been said we have jovic available,,and to be honest the last couple of games he does look capable of scoring goals .

I really think Adli should be getting more game time, of not as a regista then as cover for Reijnders. He’s been very positive when playing, especially since he hasn’t played for a year or so before this season.
Hopefully he’ll get his chance to impress during AFCON or maybe even before.
The times Adli played, he hasn’t really shown anything to warrant a starting spot – in position or out of position.
We’d score a lot more goals if Giroud didn’t start..
Giroud ? Oh you mean Milan’s top scorer AND passer this season ? Yeah he can’t run fast so he must be bad right?
Put Benny on the bench, and Krunic upfront.
Last 30 minutes bring Jovic, Bennacer, Chukwueze and Adli, take off Pulisic or Leao, Giroud, Krunic and Ruben Loftus.

Things are now looking a lot better ,,and I can see us winning the next three games two in the league and against salinitana in the Italia coppa ..
It could end up being a great season for us ,,after all so much negativity being said .

There’s no stopping Inter this season. They are on another level. We just need to focus on our objectives. Top4 and a deep EL run.

Only if Lautaro gets injured -which I do not wish to happen – would we have a shot. Inter is on track to make 90-100 points this year.

Watched Salernitana a couple of times already this season. Their defence is shockingly bad. I’ll be surprised if we didn’t score at least 3 honestly.
