GdS: Probable Milan XI to face Genoa – one selection dilemma for Pioli to ponder

By Oliver Fisher -

There is only one selection doubt for head coach Stefano Pioli resolve ahead of today’s early kick-off against Genoa at the San Siro.

Milan bounced back from the disappointing 1-1 draw against Sampdoria with a strong win at Parma, despite going down to ten men, and with just eight games left they need all the points they can get in the top four race.

According to the latest from La Gazzetta dello Sport, there is only one selection issue for Pioli to resolve as he continues to welcome back a number of injured players. Gianluigi Donnarumma will be in goal with Simon Kjaer, Fikayo Tomori and Theo Hernandez ahead, and the doubt is whether Diogo Dalot or Pierre Kalulu will be the right-back.

The doubt pivot of Ismael Bennacer and Franck Kessie will be in the middle of the field again, with Alexis Saelemaekers, Hakan Calhanoglu and Ante Rebic in support of Rafael Leao.

Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Donnarumma; Dalot (Kalulu), Kjaer, Tomori, Hernandez; Bennacer, Kessie; Saelemaekers, Calhanoglu, Rebic; Leao.
