GdS: Probable Milan XI to face Napoli – Few changes as duo returns from injury

By Isak Möller -

Following the 2-2 draw against Hellas Verona, Milan will be looking to bounce back with an important win against Napoli on Sunday evening. Stefano Pioli, COVID-19 positive, will be replaced by Daniele Bonera on the bench.

On the eve of the clash, Gazzetta Dello Sport (see photo) have published the Rossoneri’s probable XI for the game. Considering that Napoli are just three points behind, it’s a game that surely will offer some tension and entertainment on the pitch.

Stefano Pioli has decided to make few changes to the starting eleven, opting for consistency once again. Alessio Romagnoli has recovered from his minor injury and Ante Rebic will make his proper comeback, playing from the first minute.

Compared to the last game against Napoli (away in the summer), there are only two changes: Davide Calabria instead of Andrea Conti and Alexis Saelemaekers instead of Lucas Paqueta. Down below is the probable XI for tomorrow.

Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Donnarumma; Calabria, Kjaer, Romagnoli, Hernandez; Kessie, Bennacer; Saelemaekers, Calhanoglu, Rebic, Ibrahimovic.
