GdS: Probable Milan XI to face Spezia – Colombo and Tonali to be given a start

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan boss Stefano Pioli is likely to make at least a couple of changes to his starting XI for Sunday’s game against Spezia, a report claims.

The Rossoneri toiled for 120+ minutes on Thursday night as they beat Rio Ave 9-8 on penalties to reach the Europa League group stages in a dramatic encounter in Portugal, but there is no chance to rest as Spezia visit San Siro on Sunday.

Milan will be looking to make it three league wins from three and six from six in all competitions to start the season, and Friday’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport predicts the starting line-ups for the game.

The same back five is expected while Franck Kessie should also keep his spot, but Sandro Tonali will come in for Ismael Bennacer. Samu Castillejo will be on the right and Saelemaekers on the left, with Hakan Calhanoglu in behind Lorenzo Colombo.
