GdS: Probable Milan XI to take on Spezia – Four changes as key players return

By Isak Möller -

For once, Stefano Pioli has been dealt some good news on the injury front as only one player is left on the list, namely Brahim Diaz. The likes of Hakan Calhanoglu and Ismael Bennacer are now fully ready to play again.

Milan have done well in the last two games and will be looking to make it 3/3 in the second half of the season. Just like in the first half, therefore, they could arrive for the derby vs. Inter with good confidence.

As mentioned, Bennacer and Calhanoglu are both back in action and will play from start in tonight’s game against Spezia. Furthermore, Simon Kjaer has recovered and will replace Fikayo Tomori in the centre of the defence.

The fourth and final change isn’t a tactical one, as Davide Calabria is suspended and will be replaced by Man Utd loanee Diogo Dalot. It’s a big chance for the latter to show his worth after mostly playing on the left-hand side.

Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Donnarumma; Dalot, Kjaer, Romagnoli, Theo; Bennacer, Kessie; Saelemaekers, Calhanoglu, Leao; Ibrahimovic.
