GdS: Probable starting XIs for Benevento vs. Milan – Loan duo to start; Kjaer returns

By Isak Möller -

As the Christmas break has come to an end, Milan are gearing up to take on Benevento away from home tomorrow evening. With two consecutive wins in the bag, they will be eager to make it three out of three.

Stefano Pioli will still have to deal with quite a few injuries, namely on Matteo Gabbia, Ismael Bennacer, Alexis Saelemaekers and Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Furthermore, Theo Hernandez will be suspended for the game.

Four changes are expected to the XI, per Gazzetta Dello Sport (see photo below), with Diogo Dalot replacing Hernandez. Simon Kjaer has recovered from his injury and will play from the first minute, which is a big boost for the Rossoneri.

Franck Kessie is back from suspension and will slot in alongside Sandro Tonali in the midfield tandem. Samu Castillejo is doubtful for the game and this means that Brahim Diaz should start on the right flank.

Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Donnarumma; Calabria, Kjaer, Romagnoli, Dalot; Tonali, Kessie; Diaz, Calhanoglu, Rebic; Leao.
