AC Milan will face their first real pre-season test this evening as they will take on Köln away from home. The friendly clash is part of the 2022 edition Telekom Cup and it should be a nice starter for the Rossoneri.
Stefano Pioli’s men began the pre-season on Monday of last week and have had some time to get back into shape. On Wednesday, they faced amateur side Lemine and won by three goals to nil, fielding many youngsters in the process.
For tonight’s clash, as per Gazzetta Dello Sport (via SempreMilan), we will see a similar XI to the one as we saw against Lemine. Stanga will replace Coubis, Kalulu will replace Michelis and Giroud will replace Rebic.
Probable XI (4-2-3-1): Tatarusanu; Stanga, Kalulu, Gabbia, Ballo-Toure; Bakayoko, Pobega; Messias, Diaz, Adli; Giroud.
In other words, there will be a bit more experience on the pitch tonight compared to the last clash. That’s because many of the players that took part in international duty in June have now returned to training at Milanello. Giroud was already there since last week, but got the day off for the Lemine friendly.

I love that kid
Since I see him for first time
He is so elegant so good with feet
He will be better than Pirlo
Mark my words.
Him and Tonali and Pobgea
