AC Milan and Inter will face off tonight at the King Fahd Stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia hoping to add one more trophy to their collection of silverware.
This morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (as seen below) has some team news on the day of the game, starting with the Milan defence which should consist of Davide Calabria, Simon Kjaer, Fikayo Tomori and Theo Hernandez ahead of Ciprian Tatarusanu.
Ismael Bennacer and Sandro Tonali are expected to be reunited in the midfield double pivot after the latter missed the Lecce game due to suspension. Brahim Diaz is tipped to get the nod in the attacking midfielder role.
The attack should then be completed by Junior Messias on the right – favoured over Alexis Saelemaekers at the moment – plus Rafael Leao on the left wing and Olivier Giroud up front.
Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Tatarusanu; Calabria, Kjaer, Tomori, Theo; Tonali, Bennacer; Messias, Diaz, Leao; Giroud.
Probable Inter XI (3-5-2): Onana; Skriniar, Acerbi, Bastoni; Darmian, Barella, Calhanoglu, Mkhitaryan, Dimarco; Dzeko, Lautaro.
