GdS: Probable XIs for Milan vs. Lazio – Kjaer among five changes

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli is expected to make a change in three departments for this evening’s game against Lazio at San Siro, a report claims.

La Gazzetta dello Sport (seen below) reports that Mike Maignan should be back between the posts with Davide Calabria and Simon Kjaer coming into the back four, which is completed by Fikayo Tomori and Theo Hernandez.

In midfield Yacine Adli is tipped to keep his spot between Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Tijjani Reijnders as the deeper-lying player in Rade Krunic’s absence.

Moving to the attack, Olivier Giroud and Rafael Leao are expected to come back in as the centre-forward and left winger respectively, with Christian Pulisic shifting over to the right flank.

Probable Milan XI (4-3-3): Maignan; Calabria, Kjaer, Tomori, Theo; Loftus-Cheek, Adli, Reijnders; Pulisic, Giroud, Leao.

Probable Lazio XI (4-3-3): Provedel; Marusic, Casale, Romagnoli, Hysaj; Vecino, Rovella, Luis Alberto; Felipe Anderson, Immobile, Zaccagni.

  1. Tell one that has the skill set to play that role like would on AC Milan squad and if you can’t then I a fan that’s never satisfied.

    1. Tomori is the one who had problems against Belotti, Thiaw was getting ripped up by Thuram. When did Kjaer have issues against any of these guys? We all know he is slower and older, but he hasn’t made any obvious mistakes while playing in the first team.
