GdS: Probable XIs for Chelsea vs. Milan – Pioli forced into changes

AC Milan will face off against Chelsea tonight at Stamford Bridge hoping to keep themselves top of the group, and some team news has emerged.

Milan enter the game amid a selection crisis as Mike Maignan, Theo Hernandez, Simon Kjaer, Davide Calabria, Alexis Saelemaekers, Junior Messias, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Alessandro Florenzi are injured while Malick Thiaw, Aster Vranckx and Yacine Adli were not names in the Champions League squad.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews), Stefano Pioli is expected to pick Ciprian Tatarusanu in goal with Sergino Dest, Pierre Kalulu, Fikayo Tomori and Fode Ballo-Toure as the back four.

Ismael Bennacer and Sandro Tonali will be in midfield with Rade Krunic, Charles De Ketelaere and Rafael Leao as the attacking trident behind Olivier Giroud.

Probable Chelsea XI (3-4-1-2): Kepa; Fofana, Thiago Silva, Cucurella; James, Jorginho, Kovacic, Chilwell; Mount; Sterling, Aubameyang.

Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Tatarusanu; Dest, Kalulu, Tomori, Ballo-Touré; Bennacer, Tonali; Krunic, De Ketelaere, Leao; Giroud.
