GdS: Probable XIs for Juventus vs. Milan – Leao, Theo, Reijnders and Giroud in

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan should field a starting line-up which more resembles that full strength XI for the game against Juventus in Los Angeles, a report claims.

According to what is being reported by this morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (seen below), Stefano Pioli will make some changes to the rearguard as Mike Maignan, Malick Thiaw and Theo Hernandez should come in to join Davide Calabria and Fikayo Tomori.

In midfield there is expected to be only one alteration from the loss to Real Madrid earlier in the week with Tijjani Reijnders tipped for his first start alongside Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Rade Krunic.

There will be big changes in attack with Christian Pulisic shifting to the right flank and Rafael Leao on the left side and Olivier Giroud the centre-forward.

Probable Milan XI (4-3-3): Maignan; Calabria, Thiaw, Tomori, Theo Hernandez; Loftus-Cheek, Krunic, Reijnders; Pulisic, Giroud, Leao.

Probable Juventus XI (3-5-2): Szczesny; Gatti, Bremer, Danilo; Weah, McKennie, Locatelli, Miretti, Cambiaso; Chiesa, Kean.

  1. Really looking forward to see Pulisic on our right wing. Hopefully he’ll be able to do all the good things as he’s done on the left.

  2. The midfield is still bothering me. I wish we had this line up and still had Tonali in the squad, that would be a well-rounded Milan. I guess we can’t win at everything in life.
