GdS: Probable XIs for Juventus vs. Milan – both sides battling injury problems

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli has been left without much depth for tonight’s crucial game against Juventus in Turin.

As La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanLive) writes, Pioli will stick with a 4-2-3-1 and Mike Maignan will be the starting goalkeeper, with Alessandro Florenzi as the right-back, Alessio Romagnoli and Fikayo Tomori as the centre-backs and Theo Hernandez at left-back.

Kessie and Tonali should be the double pivot while Saelemaekers should start on the right wing, with Brahim Diaz down the middle and Rafael Leao on the left, plus Ante Rebic as a centre-forward.

Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Maignan; Florenzi, Tomori, Romagnoli, T. Hernandez; Tonali, Kessie; Saelemaekers, B. Diaz, Leao; Rebic.

Massimiliano Allegri meanwhile will also be forced to leave certain players out of the starting line-up such as Bonucci, Chiesa and Bernardeschi. The 4-4-2 should be used again with Dybala-Morata being the front two, while Rabiot should be deployed on the left

Probable Juventus XI (4-4-2): Szczesny; Danilo, De Ligt, Chiellini, Alex Sandro; Cuadrado, Locatelli, Bentancur, Rabiot; Dybala, Morata.
