GdS: Probable XIs for Juventus vs. Milan – Calhanoglu and Brahim Diaz both set to start

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan boss Stefano Pioli appears set to try a different approach for tonight’s huge game against Juventus in Turin.

This morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport – as seen below – predicts that Gianluigi Donnarumma will be in goal with Davide Calabria, Simon Kjaer, Fikayo Tomori and Theo Hernandez the back four from right to left.

Ismael Bennacer and Franck Kessie should once again be the double pivot with Alexis Saelemaekers, Brahim Diaz and Hakan Calhanoglu in the attacking trident behind centre-forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who is fit and ready to face his old club once again.

It was about time that Stefano Pioli’s men got a win after the losses against Sassuolo and Lazio, which took them out of the top four. They are currently level with Atalanta and Juventus on points, but behind both on goal difference.

Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Donnarumma; Calabria, Kjaer, Tomori, Theo Hernandez; Bennacer, Kessie; Saelemaekers, Diaz, Calhanoglu; Ibrahimovic.

Probable Juventus XI (4-4-2): Szcszesny; Danilo, De Ligt, Bonucci, Danilo; Cuadrado, Bentancur, Rabiot, McKennie; Morata, Ronaldo.
