GdS: Probable XIs for Milan vs. RB Salzburg – several changes from Torino defeat

AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli is expected to do the same as against Dinamo Zagreb by fielding both Ante Rebic and Rafael Leao from the start against Red Bull Salzburg.

According to what is being reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Olivier Giroud should be the man who leads the line for Milan against Salzburg, with a draw enough to get into the knockout stages of the Champions League.

He is expected to be supported by Leao on the left wing and Rebic on the right wing, with Rade Krunic tipped to be the playmaker leaving Brahim Diaz and Charles De Ketelaere as bench options.

Sandro Tonali and Ismael Bennacer should be reunited in the double pivot, with Ciprian Tatarusanu having a back four of Pierre Kalulu, Simon Kjaer, Fikayo Tomori and Theo Hernandez ahead of him from right to left.

Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Tatarusanu; Kalulu, Kjaer, Tomori, Theo Hernandez; Tonali, Bennacer; Rebic, Krunic, Leao; Giroud.

Probable Salzburg Xi (4-3-1-2): Köhn; Dedic, Wober, Pavlovic, Ulmer; Seiwald, Gourna-Douath, Kjaergaard; Sucic; Okafor, Adamu.
