AC Milan boss Stefano Pioli is expected to make a number of changes to the starting line-up that beat Bologna for this evening’s game against Sassuolo.
According to a report from La Gazzetta dello Sport, the right side of the defence will be changed as Alessandro Florenzi and Simon Kjaer are expected to replace Davide Calabria and Pierre Kalulu respectively. Fikayo Tomori and Theo Hernandez complete the back four in front of Mike Maignan.
Tommaso Pobega is expected to replace Sandro Tonali in the midfield with Ismael Bennacer keeping his spot. Alexis Saelemaekers should get the nod ahead of Junior Messias for the right wing, with Brahim Diaz coming back in for Charles De Ketelaere.
Olivier Giroud should lead the line again with Rafael Leao starting on the left flank after his goal against Bologna at the weekend.

he’s obviously looking ahead to Inter…….however this is a game to win and get 3 points , our “french connection” Olivier and Theo will step up, Pobega was mentioned as “slow” in a previous post, watched him last week, he is slow to react , not quick at all, Sass’s offense will focus on him.
Every win gives us 3 points. I think CDK should start again to be more ready for the Derby. Today’s match is tricky because of neccesary rotation.
For me Kalulu has become our best CB kudos to him and Maldini

I would like it if Pioli gives Lazetic a chance to play today. Might sound crazy but even as a starter. If it doesn’t look good just bring Giroud in the 2nd half. We need the old man fresh for Inter. I don’t trust Rebic nor Origi to be available for Saturday. Rebic is especially frustrating with these minor injuries coming out of nowhere that linger for several weeks at a time.
Or maybe even put CDK as a false 9.
I like to see how Pobega does in his 1st start, hoping for the best.

AGree, Lazetic should be given a chance – rebic and Origo injuries are worrying, so he needs game time just in case Giroud also picks up an injury. CDK should be in from start – don’t see any point in resting him and playing Diaz..
I like commentator here , they want to play same 11 player every match like machine or like football manager. Wake up dude , this is real world and player need rest too . If we lose because rotation? Then our bench are trash not the rotation ,Winner club need good depth on bench to get trophy not just 11 player in squad
Have no fear Olivier Giroud is here …He is ready and willing for the game ..His technical ability is second to none ,and he knows where to be at the right time ..
He will score goals make no mistake about that ..He also is a great target man ,as he holds up play so well which enables others to come into play ..He has so much pace around him which of course he needs .
Leo and salamakers will be able to get around defenders and put in good balls in the 18 yard area where Olivier excells ..We are in the scuddeto race and of course we can win it again ..Belief is so important and Olivier has so much of this ,and so have I . Always believe and then all things are possible.It’s AC Milan for me ..
