Stefano Pioli will make quite a few changes to the starting XI compared to the mid-week clash, as you would expect, reverting to the usual eleven. However, with Sandro Tonali suspended, there is one battle.
Milan failed to beat Roma and then went on to lose against Torino in the Coppa Italia. In short, it hasn’t been a great week for Pioli’s men and a good result is needed tonight not just for their own confidence, but to send a message to the rest.
The mid-week XI was a makeshift one and thus the XI for tonight’s game will look very different. Tonali is suspended and will be replaced by Tommaso Pobega or Aster Vranckx, with the latter currently ahead as per Gazzetta Dello Sport.
The other battle concerns the No.10 position, but Brahim Diaz remains ahead of Charles De Ketelaere. Kick-off is scheduled for 18:00 and it remains to be seen how the Rossoneri will respond.
Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Tatarusanu; Calabria, Kalulu, Tomori, Theo; Vranckx (Pobega), Bennacer; Saelemaekers, Diaz (CDK), Leao; Giroud.
