GdS: Probable XIs for Milan vs. Bologna – Pioli has decided the trequartista

By Isak Möller -

An important game beckons for AC Milan this evening as they will look to restore their three-point cushion at the top of the standings. It won’t be a walk in the park for the Rossoneri, but Stefano Pioli is confident.

The manager had a few doubts about the starting XI, especially the trequartista role, but he’s expected to start Brahim Diaz. This was reported by today’s edition of Gazzetta Dello Sport (see photo below).

Franck Kessie has done quite well in that role lately but he will get some rest this time out. It should be remembered that Diaz had a very good season finale last campaign and if he can replicate that, then Milan will receive a big boost.

Other than the No.10 role, the XI is exactly what you would expect as Pierre Kalulu keeps his spot alongside Fikayo Tomori. Ante Rebic will also start on the bench, after all, despite the rumours in recent days.
