GdS: Probable XIs for Milan vs. Lecce – three alterations from Napoli

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli is expected to make some changes to the starting line-up for the game against Lecce but he will keep the line-up mostly the same.

This morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport writes that Mike Maignan will be in goal with Fikayo Tomori and Theo Hernandez keeping their spot in the back four, but Alessandro Florenzi should come in for the suspended Davide Calabria and Pierre Kalulu should give Simon Kjaer a rest.

In midfield the double pivot should be Rade Krunic and Sandro Tonali with Ismael Bennacer just ahead of them meaning it is the same trio as played all three games against Napoli.

In attack, Brahim Diaz should retain his place on the right wing, Rafael Leao should be on the left side and Ante Rebic up front to allow Olivier Giroud to get some rest.

Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Maignan; Florenzi, Kalulu, Tomori, Theo Hernandez; Krunic, Tonali; Brahim Diaz, Bennacer, Leao; Rebic.

Probable Lecce XI (4-3-3): Falcone; Gendrey, Baschirotto, Umtiti, Gallo; Blin, Hjulmand, Oudin; Strefezza, Ceesay, Di Francesco.
