GdS: Probable XIs for Milan vs. RB Salzburg – changes in all three departments

AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli is expected to make changes in all departments ahead of the game against Red Bull Salzburg tomorrow night, a report claims.

After the fifth round of group stage games saw Milan win 4-0 against Dinamo Zagreb and Salzburg lose at home to Chelsea the equation is simple: the Rossoneri must avoid defeat against the Austrian champions to finish second and reach the Champions League knockout stages.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, there should be a change in the defensive department as Simon Kjaer should come in for Matteo Gabbia, with Pierre Kalulu, Fikayo Tomori and Theo Hernandez completing the back four in front of Ciprian Tatarusanu.

Sandro Tonali should be partnered by Ismael Bennacer in the double pivot, with Brahim Diaz expected to play ahead of them as the central attacking midfielder. Junior Messias should start on the right with Rafael Leao on the left flank and Olivier Giroud up front.

Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Tatarusanu; Kalulu, Kjaer, Tomori, Theo; Tonali, Bennacer; Messias, Diaz, Leao; Giroud

Probable Salzburg XI (4-1-3-2): Köhn; Dedic, Solet, Pavlovic, Ulmer; Gourna-Douath; Kjærgaard, Sucic, Seiwald; Okafor, Adamu.
