GdS: Probable XIs for Milan vs. Salernitana – one change from Spurs game

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli is expected to field almost the exact same starting line-up against Salernitana tonight compared to the one that drew with Spurs in midweek.

According to this morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (as seen below), Pioli should field the same defensive unit of Mike Maignan in goal with Pierre Kalulu, Malick Thiaw and Fikayo Tomori ahead as the three centre-backs.

Alexis Saelemaekers would be the only change given Junior Messias has picked up an injury and he should be the right wing-back, with Theo Hernandez on the opposite flank and a midfield pairing of Sandro Tonali and Rade Krunic.

In attack Olivier Giroud will work overtime to lead the line and will be supported by Rafael Leao on the left and Brahim Diaz on the right.

Probable Milan XI (3-4-2-1): Maignan; Kalulu, Thiaw, Tomori; Saelemaekers, Tonali, Krunic, Theo Hernandez; Diaz, Leao; Giroud.

Probable Salernitana XI (3-4-2-1): Ochoa; Daniliuc, Gyomber, Pirola; Mazzocchi, Coulibaly, Crnigoj, Bradaric; Candreva, Dia; Piatek.
