GdS: Probable XIs for Milan vs. Spurs – Thiaw and Saelemaekers tipped to start

There are a couple of changes to the predicted starting line-up for AC Milan’s game against Spurs tonight compared to what was being reported yesterday.

According to this morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (as seen below), Milan should start with Ciprian Tatarusanu in goal protected by a three-man defence formed by Pierre Kalulu, Malick Thiaw and Fikayo Tomori.

Alexis Saelemaekers should be the right wing-back over captain Davide Calabria with Theo Hernandez on the opposite flank, while Sandro Tonali should be accompanied by Rade Krunic in midfield given Ismael Bennacer is still not 100%.

Then, the attacking trident should consist of Brahim Diaz and Rafael Leao playing slightly behind the centre-forward Olivier Giroud in what is down as a 3-4-2-1 system, which is what Antonio Conte is expected to line Spurs up in too.

Probable Milan XI (3-4-2-1): Tatarusanu; Kalulu, Thiaw, Tomori; Saelemaekers, Krunic, Tonali, Theo Hernandez; Diaz, Leao; Giroud.

Probable Spurs XI (3-4-2-1): Forster; Romero, Dier, Lenglet; Emerson Royal, Skipp, Sarr, Perisic; Kulusevski, Son; kane.
