AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli is likely to make some changes to the starting line-up that drew with Inter in midweek for the trip to Napoli.
According to today’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport, Pioli is likely to field a back four of Davide Calabria, Pierre Kalulu, Fikayo Tomori and Theo Hernandez from right to left in front of the goalkeeper Mike Maignan.
Ismael Bennacer and Sandro Tonali should make up the double pivot, with Franck Kessie playing in the role of advanced midfielder to try and repeat what he did in Empoli.
Then, Alexis Saelemaekers is likely to get the nod on the right over Junior Messias, with Rafael Leao the left winger and Olivier Giroud up front.
Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Maignan; Calabria, Kalulu, Tomori, Theo Hernandez; Bennacer, Tonali; Saelemaekers, Kessie, Leao; Giroud.
Probable Napoli XI (4-2-3-1): Ospina; Di Lorenzo, Rrahmani, Koulibaly, Mario Rui; Fabian Ruiz, Lobotka; Politano, Zielinski, Insigne; Osimhen.
Can we experiment on something. Play Theo as LW, Florenzi as LB.
Play Leao as CAM and Rebic as RW
