GdS: Probable XIs for Spurs vs. Milan – Krunic over Bennacer in midfield

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli is not expected to field Ismael Bennacer from the first minute in tonight’s game against Spurs, a report claims.

According to the predicted line-ups in today’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (as seen below), Mike Maignan will be back in goal having missed the last five Champions League games and will have a back three of Pierre Kalulu, Malick Thiaw and Fikayo Tomori ahead of his.

Junior Messias and Theo Hernandez are expected to be the right and left wing-backs respectively, while the midfield double pivot is down as Rade Krunic and Sandro Tonali meaning Bennacer would start from the bench.

Brahim Diaz and Olivier Giroud are both fit enough to start in the attacking trident while Rafael Leao should be on the left flank.

Probable Milan XI (3-4-2-1): Maignan; Kalulu, Thiaw, Tomori; Messias, Tonali, Krunic, Theo Hernandez; Diaz, Leao; Giroud.

Probable Tottenham XI (3-4-2-1): Forster; Romero, Lenglet, Davies; Emerson, Hojbjerg, Skipp, Perisic; Kulusevski, Son; Kane.

    1. You are the one that has the wrong selection. When will all you Milan fans be satisfied for once.
This is a good line up, am OK with it.
The mid needs to be protected in the 1sy half so bennacer starting from the bench is a good ideal so he can bring in his fresh mechanism and movement in the second half. Please let’s support the team the way we see it.
      Milan is qualifying!!

  2. This is a good starting line up Thiaw is our player of the month, messias is a good choice because he brings a lot of energy but I’m hoping to see Rebic coming in atleast for the last 30 minutes. I’m sure we will score a goal. Forza Milan
