AC Milan are back in league action tonight as they face off against Udinese at the Bluenergy Stadium, looking to make it four wins in a row in Serie A.
According to this morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (as seen below), Stefano Pioli’s plan is to stick with the formula that brought three goals and three points against Roma last weekend.
That means Mike Maignan will be in goal with Davide Calabria, Simon Kjaer, Matteo Gabbia and Theo Hernandez as the back four in front of him.
It will be a double pivot of Yacine Adli and Tijjani Reijnders once again as per the paper, with the former having played possibly his best game for Milan and getting his first goal against Roma.
Ruben Loftus-Cheek is down as playing just ahead of them as an attacking midfielder, with Christian Pulisic on the right wing, Rafael Leao on the left and Olivier Giroud up front after he recovered from flu.
Udinese meanwhile are expected to have a 3-5-1-1 with Lucca supported by Pereyra in attack.
Predicted Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Maignan; Calabria, Kjaer, Gabbia, Theo; Adli, Reijnders; Pulisic, Loftus-Cheek, Leao; Giroud.
Probable Udinese XI (3-5-2): Okoye; Ferreira, Perez, Kristensen; Ebosele, Lovric, Walace, Payero, Kamara; Pereyra, Lucca.
For acmilan to defeat Udinese we need close marking against players like Pereyra, ebosele,Kamara and sarmadzic and also high pressing to weak the opponent
But we also need Romero, jovic, Okafor, musah in our substitute
Okafor for gerod, terrsciano for Calabria, and hope zeroli get some minute, musah is very good sub
I’m calling that calabria will cause a penalty.
