GdS: Recoveries and resurgences – how Milan will arrive at the Juventus game

By Euan Burns -

AC Milan managed to recover important players during the international break but the loss of momentum could create issues for the Rossoneri, a report suggests.

As explained by La Gazzetta dello Sport, some players who had recently picked up injuries got the opportunity to recover without Milan playing games every few games.

Whilst Ismael Bennacer and Mattia Caldara are long-term absentees, the likes of Rade Krunic, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Pierre Kalulu should be recovered in time to be considered for selection against Juventus on Sunday.

Whilst that is very good news for Stefano Pioli, the fact that Milan just reached the top of the league and were building a run of form means that the break was not ideally timed.

There are, at this stage, no major injuries to report from international duty although there are still a number of games that need to be played across the next few days.

  1. Krunic should praise himself lucky that he isnt playing for bosnia tonight as they are trailing behind 0-5 at halftime at home against portugal and from the looks of it might get far worse before its over.
