After the Coppa Italia clash mid-week, AC Milan and Inter will resume their Scudetto battle this weekend. The Roma-based clubs, Lazio and Roma, will play a big role in the outcome.
That is, of course, because Milan will face Lazio tomorrow and Inter will take on Roma tonight. Gazzetta Dello Sport (via MilanNews) that the Scudetto battle will dance between Milan and Rome as a result of the fixtures.
Milan will have to bounce back after what was a demoralising 3-0 defeat against Inter mid-week. It wasn’t a 3-0 game and the Rossoneri were unlucky to have a goal disallowed, but a response is still needed.
Inter, meanwhile, will be in good spirits and that’s why this round will be so important for both sides. A slip-up at this point of the season could be fatal, especially for Milan given that the Nerazzurri have a game in hand and could go top.
