GdS: Spurs and Eintracht Frankfurt duo the leading candidates in Milan’s CB hunt

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are looking to recruit a new centre-back this summer and they currently have two options in mind, according to a report.

With the exit of Alessio Romagnoli and the potentia departure of Matteo Gabbia on loan, Milan are looking for a new central defender to join Simon Kjaer, Fikayo Tomori and Pierre Kalulu. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews), there are two options in mind.

The first name is Japhet Tanganga of Tottenham, but in the last few hours  Evan N’Dicka of Eintracht Frankfurt has strongly returned to the limelight. Milan have had the first official contacts with Spurs and their director Fabio Paratici, but there is still no agreement between the two clubs on the formula given that the Rossoneri want a paid loan with option to buy and the London club want it to be an obligation.

N’Dicka remains as an option therefore, and relations with Eintracht Frankfurt are optimal as evidenced by the Ante Rebic, André Silva and Jens Petter Hauge operations. The Frenchman is valued at €20m, but with his deal due to expire in 2023, the German club could settle for €15m, but given no loan formula can be used it would be an up-front objective.

  1. Just keep the faith in Gabbia, he’ll be good you’ll see. If we are going to sign one of these 1 it’s not even close, Ndicka is way better.

  2. Get ndicka before he go to EPL club next season free transfer. No need to buy renato or other DMF ,just use that fund for ndicka 15m euro
