Guela Doue is the priority for the right-hand side of the defence, and after having secured Pervis Estupinan for the opposite flank, AC Milan are keen on getting the deal done as soon as possible.
Milan’s defence is starting to take shape, following Estupinan’s arrival, but the Rossoneri still need to add a right-back to their squad. Marc Pubill appeared to be just one step away but then Igli Tare pulled out of the deal.

As was reported by Fabrizio Romano, Strasbourg’s Doue is now the No.1 target for the position as Milan are ‘in love’ with the player. They believe he has fantastic potential, meaning he’s worth the investment this summer.
Third time’s the charm?
According to Gazzetta dello Sport (see photo below), Milan are ready to put a third offer on the table. They initially offered €20m, which was then bumped up to €22m, and now the third offer will be worth over €23m.
Strasbourg asked for €30m to part ways with the 22-year-old at the start of the negotiations, but as a result of Milan’s willingness to come up, they have ‘softened’ a little in recent days. Meanwhile, contacts are constant between Tare and the player’s agents.
In short, there is some optimism that an agreement can be reached in the end. The outlook is certainly a lot better than just a few weeks ago, which says a lot.

Doue is the best option for us. I hope we can sign him soon. If Tare pulls this off and get Jashari and Vlahovic then we will definitely have a good transfer market. But we still need a better CB to pair with Thiaw. Someone with experience or better quality than Tomori and Pavlovic.

Need to sell tomori or pavlovic first
Sometimes it is better to trust your academy product than new shiny toys. Give chance to gabbia. Look at pavlovic new shiny toys last summer and now people want ACM to sell him. Dont forget allegri only want 23 player and CB already max 4 player : gabbia, tomori, pavlo, thiaw. Only thiaw have buyer, pav and tomori dont have buyer.
Gabbia was given plenty of chances last season – only thing he knows how to do is pass the ball back to the keeper.

I can tell you all right now it seem Ardon Jashari will be done at around €40 million and now Doue at €23-24. Expect a cheap striker I will guarantee embolo will be the striker to partner Santi. Santi will start embolo off the bench. And he only cost €11 million

Gambia isn’t really good. He’s slow and can’t move the ball well. He has a good verticality and only good with his head. The only one I would keep between them is Thiaw, and maybe Tomori
Gabbia is good positionally but he doesn’t have the speed. I’d keep Thiaw and sell one of Tomori or Pavlo. Both are similar players.
He’s our best CB probably buddy. Gabbia is the only 1 who seems capable of keeping his head turned on for a full 90, Pav has lapses but is a beast in 1v1 duels, and thiaw is a mostly reliable. Tomori needs to be sold to the 1st epl team that’s willing to overpay because he’s just a liability
Pavlovic got turned inside out by a 17yr old player during the match against Arsenal. What you talking about he’s good in 1 on 1? Did you see what Orsolini did to him last season?
Pavlovic is the worse defender in 1 on 1. Smh

I do not think we need a CB… We need to offload the pressure off our defenders by having a good midfield and everyone dropping back to defend and help out our defenders … Thiaw and Gabbia are similar ( ball playing defenders, slow) , Tomori and Pavlo are similar(agressive ,fast and plays with their heart)
