The three players who have been requested most on the back of the new 2020-21 AC Milan home shirt has been revealed.
Milan officially released their home shirt for next season during an unveiling yesterday under the ‘Move Like Milan’ tagline. As per a statement on the club’s official website, the new shirt ‘takes inspiration from the energy, creativity and style of Milan’ and the ‘Move Like Milan’ slogan reflected the rapid acceleration of the city’s culture as Milan reinvents itself.
The shirt features Milan’s iconic red and black stripes but at various widths, which is apparently to celebrate ‘the creative balance of tradition and modernity giving rise to a new Milan, from the pitch to the streets to the city skyline’.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews), even though they new kit was only presented yesterday, the home shirt for the 2021-22 season has been on sale for a few days. The player claims that the best-selling shirt for the current jersey (2020-21) is that of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, while in second place is full-back Theo Hernandez and then midfielder Sandro Tonali in third.
