GdS: The truth about Olzer and the alleged buy-out clause for Milan

By Isak Möller -

Giacomo Olzer will be included in the Sandro Tonali operation as a technical counterpart, which has helped Milan lower the fee of the midfielder. Fortunately, given the talent of the youngster, there will be a buy-back clause.

As reported by today’s edition of Gazzetta Dello Sport (via MilanNews), the Rossoneri agreed to send the 20-year-old to Brescia in order to lower Tonali’s price tag. Instead of €35m total, the operation should cost the club €22-25m.

Olzer will join the Serie B side on a permanent basis but there will be a buy-back clause in favour of Milan. As said, this is indeed very positive considering that the right-winger is the big star of the Primavera side.

Having said that, it will be interesting to see how he will get on in Serie B, which is a lot different compared to the youth league. Hopefully, he will do well and come back to Milan one day.
