GdS: Time passes a little less for Ibrahimovic – at 40 he delivers for Milan

By Isak Möller -

Zlatan Ibrahimovic didn’t have his best game last night, at least not in play, but he did get an assist and also got on the scoresheet with a nice finish. At 40, therefore, he continued to deliver although he can do more for AC Milan.

As was well put by Gazzetta Dello Sport this morning (via MilanNews), Ibrahimovic highlighted that time passes for everyone but a little less for him. Despite not shining on the pitch, he still managed to impact the game scoring-wise.

It’s clear that he still needs time to regain full match fitness. As the newspaper continues, it would be unrealistic to expect him to be in great condition, but he’s starting to improve. The Milan fans will just have to be patient.

The 90 minutes at Renato Dall’Ara gave important indications: Ibrahimovic is hungry and wants to make a difference. Once he’s back in top condition, he will be able to do a lot better for the Rossoneri and that is indeed a boost.
