GdS: Tonali has ‘married’ the Inter project but Milan and Juventus have not given up

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan and Juventus have not yet given up on signing Brescia midfielder Sandro Tonali despite the player’s agreement with Inter, a report claims.

Milan have been repeatedly linked with a move for Tonali, who is a boyhood fan of the Rossoneri, though it has always been claimed that their city rivals Inter are ahead in the race.

There have been suggestions from various sources that Juventus could re-enter the race for the 20-year-old too, having named Andrea Pirlo as their new head coach, a player Tonali continues to be likened to.

According to Friday’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews), Tonali has already “married” the Nerazzurri project, but the competition are not giving up.

The paper adds that while the Italy international has given the green light to join Inter, they must find an agreement with Brescia. That means the door is open for both Milan and Juventus, who have not given up on their hopes of luring him.
