Sandro Tonali has been a key player for AC Milan recently, starting the season in the best way possible with three great performances. However, his presence from start this evening is uncertain, having missed training yesterday.
The youngster didn’t take part in the training session yesterday as a precaution but was included in the squad for tonight’s clash. As reported by Gazzetta Dello Sport (via MilanNews), it’s not certain that he will start the game.
He seems to be ahead for the time being, but if there’s even slight discomfort, then Ismael Bennacer will get the chance instead. The Algerian, prior to his injury struggles last season, was an undisputed starter for the Rossoneri.
The midfield is yet to be decided, therefore, and the only certainty there is Franck Kessie. The Ivorian returned from injury on Sunday evening and although he missed a penalty, it was a good performance.
