AC Milan clinched their first win of the pre-season last night as they beat FC Köln by two goals to one. Olivier Giroud was the big hero with a brace and was named the MOTM, but there are also some other players to highlight.
This is exactly what Gazzetta Dello Sport (via SempreMilan) did this morning. The class and quality of Giroud cannot be disregarded but, at the same time, it’s expected from the No.9. Therefore, the newspaper named two other players.
Starting with the top, Rebic was given that title. The Croatian got to wear the captain’s armband again and it seems to do him a lot of good. He displayed great determination yet again and the no-look back-heel assist for Giroud was just wonderful.
Moving on to a player that could have done better, Gazzetta named Tommaso Pobega. He has an impressive size and his physique came in handy on a few occasions. However, he still needs some time to get into form and adjust to Milan’s style, which became evident yesterday.
Pobega + cash for Bremer and Milan would have one the one the best CB-duos in the world with Bremer and Tomori

Wrong place… I should have replied to the first comment, not this one…
Kalulu & Tomori are already the best center back duo in Serie A. Kalulu has the potential to become the next Nesta!
Exactly. Kalulu is a gem who needs to play all the time.
