By Isak Möller -

The Coronavirus emergency is affecting every aspect of life. Many countries are in lockdown, including Italy, and this has obviously changed the situation for Stefano Pioli and his Rossoneri players.

Just like the other teams, the Milan players are working to stay in shape at home, doing their best in the circumstances. According to today’s edition of Gazzetta Dello Sport (via MilanNews.it), Pioli’s staff has provided each player with an individual training program.

Strength sessions, running and maintaining muscle balance. Of course, it’s only possible for the players to do exercises on the floor and with cardio machines. As for nutrition, the consumption of vegetables and fruit is highly recommended.

Vitamins, minerals and water are essential, while processed food is something that they should stay away from. Furthermore, the usual ‘day off’ in the week has been removed and Pioli trusts the professionalism of the players to keep training hard.
