As the days pass by Milan are moving closer towards resolving the cases of the five players on loan, according to a report.
La Gazzetta dello Sport writes how at the moment Fikayo Tomori, Sandro Tonali and Brahim Diaz appear likely to stay as things stand. Milan are making final attempts to lower the €28m option to buy but will sign him even if they don’t get a discount, and in any case the fee will be spread on a three-year basis.
The Rossoneri are trying to avoid paying any fee for the option to buy for Tonali (but the €10m bonuses will still remain) by inserting a counterpart that Cellino likes. As with Tomori, there is no doubt about the midfielder staying.
Optimism also reigns regarding Brahim Diaz as Carlo Ancelotti has not blocked another departure for the 21-year-old Spaniard, and the most viable path should be that of a new loan but an option to buy. Soualiho Meite and Diogo Dalot should return to their respective parent clubs.
