GdS: Two summer signings to make Milan debut in Saturday’s friendly against Nice

By Oliver Fisher -

There will be an exciting sub-plot to Saturday’s friendly against OGC Nice in France as two players should make their debut, a report claims.

Milan’s preseason has kicked off in excellent fashion as they beat Serie C side Pro Sesto by a scoreline of 6-0 at Milanello to open their batch of summer friendlies, before then putting another Serie C side to the sword in Modena, who they beat 5-0 on Saturday afternoon in a game that saw Brahim Diaz feature for the first time since his return.

According to today’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews), Mike Maignan and Olivier Giroud – new signings who arrived from Lille and Chelsea respectively – are already preparing for game action despite having only arrived at Milanello yesterday.

The duo are ready to take the field on Saturday evening in the friendly that Pioli’s side will play against Ligue 1 side OGC Nice at the Allianz Riviera.
