GdS: Updates on Brahim Diaz, Tonali, Bennacer and more – the latest on Milan’s injury situation

An update on AC Milan’s injury situation has arrived in Sunday’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport, and there is some positive news.

The paper (via MilanLive) claims that there is no cause for concern regarding the condition of Brahim Diaz and Sandro Tonali despite the fact both were subbed off during last night’s win over Torino, with both simply sustaining heavy bruises.

Tonali and Diaz, however, are at risk for Tuesday’s match in the Coppa Italia and should most likely be rested. Hakan Calhanoglu and Zlatan Ibrahimovic are back in the mix however, and the latter wants to start in the cup game in order to get back some match sharpness.

Matteo Gabbia, Ismael Bennacer and Alexis Saelemaekers should miss the next game but the Algerian and the Belgian will do everything to be there next Monday against Cagliari.

Rade Krunic and Ante Rebic meanwhile are waiting to test negative for Coronavirus before they can return.
