GdS: Verona could cash in as Milan show interest in midfielder that cost €6m

By Isak Möller -

Milan are always looking for opportunities on the market and are following several players ahead of the summer transfer window. With the defence pretty much set, they are mainly focused on reinforcing other departments.

The attack is one of them and perhaps the priority for the Rossoneri, seeing as the alternatives in those positions have had mixed success. According to Gazzetta Dello Sport (via MilanNews), they are keeping tabs on a Verona midfielder.

As was reported earlier this morning by the same newspaper, Mattia Zaccagni is on Milan’s transfer wish list but he isn’t the only one, with Antonin Barak also present. The 26-year-old has impressed this season, scoring the equaliser against Juve last weekend.

He’s owned by Udinese but Verona will exercise the €6m buy-out clause at the end of the season. The Bentegodi side have a big opportunity to cash in on the Czech international as many teams are following his progress.
