GdS: West Ham one of two options for Milan flop Origi – the situation

By Isak Möller -

Divock Origi is no longer in the plans of AC Milan and he’s expected to leave the club this summer. However, after such a disappointing season, finding him a new club isn’t an easy task.

Origi arrived on a free transfer ahead of last season and Milan gave him a contract worth €4m per season. A decision they have since regretted, seeing as the striker only found the back of the net twice in 36 appearances.

According to today’s edition of Gazzetta Dello Sport, as cited by SempreMilan.it, Milan are currently working on his departure and there are two options: Premeir League or Saudi Arabia. However, to date, they have not received any offers.

West Ham are in pole position in the Premier League, per the newspaper, but they have not gone further than a simple inquiry thus far. From a financial point of view, Milan are hoping that Origi will accept a move to Saudi Arabia.

The Rossoneri have made it clear to the striker that if he wants to play next season, he will have to leave.
