GdS: West Ham provide alternative to Saudi Pro League move for Origi

By Euan Burns -

Divock Origi is destined to leave AC Milan this summer and he may be able to join West Ham rather than a Saudi Pro League team, a report claims.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Milan News), the most feasible move in the Premier League for Origi right now is West Ham United as they have shown some interest in the Belgian.

No official offer has come forward for Origi, who has only been at Milan for one season but failed to make any sort of impact during the 2022/23 campaign.

Given he arrived on a free transfer from Liverpool, there is scope for Milan to make a small capital gain on Origi but after such a poor season, they will not be able to demand too high of a fee.

There has also been interest from the Saudi Pro League but without an official offer coming forward, there is little movement.

    1. Problem is that he was a free transfer, he was atroutios last season and pundits in the UK do not rate him at all.

We should hope he goes to the Saudi if want at least 10m

  1. The rush to sell Adli, CDK and Origi is beyond me. Let’s hope after they are sold and start doing well in other leagues, we don’t complain especially when thier replacements in Milan don’t do as we as we expect them. My answer then will be Pioli, which we all know, somehow because we have been buying players, we have now swept how bad Pioli’s team management last season was and at time he seems that he is out of his depth.

      1. That is complete BS. You were once a Redbird hater now a complete 360 and everything we done in last was wrong. Bandwagon jumper

  2. why did Milan bring Origi last year because he is a target man type player who is almost similar to Zlatan

Giroud’s type is a pure striker, he can’t keep the ball and can’t carry the ball. Origi had little game time last season, and tactics would change completely with each substitution at forward
